The great November weather allowed for a wonderful day to run up the shore to Gooseberry Falls State Park to see the falls. The rain in October made for more water and some nice waterfall viewing. The stark leafless birch trees allowed a view of the Gooseberry River as it empties into Lake Superior. The tourists are gone so there were very few people around.
