On the North shore of Minnesota is Lutsen Ski Resort. It has a real ski resort feel to it.Not a ski hill but a mountain called Moose Mountain. In May there is even some small snow piles remaining. You take the tram to the top and get a incredible view of Lake Superior.

The Cable car ride to the top of Moose Mountain is very enjoyable
and there is a deck and small restaurant at the top. You can sit
and enjoy the view. If it's clear you can see all the way to Upper Michigan.
