Copper Falls State Park

Just south of Ashland about 20 minutes is Copper Falls State Park. One of the more popular Northern Wisconsin State parks due to the waterfalls and excellent hiking trails. The camping is very nice with many wooded sites. In the spring time after snow melt and some spring rains the falls roar with alot of flow. The trails were constructed by the CCC and WPA programs during the depression. The Park is located just off of HWY 13 in Mellen Wisconsin.
