Girls Gone Kayaking

Not quite as wild as the videos for sale on the TV late at night but more rewarding and fun. The launch point was the Sioux River and then a paddle down the coast of Chequamegon Bay in fall like July weather. The water was flat calm and clear all the way to the bottom. Lake Superior has to be the most pristine Great Lake of them all. A Otter was spotted on shore with a small fish for lunch. The coast is very interesting with small sea caves and rocky cliffs at points along the shore.

All you need is a green kayak or orange and you would look like a bunch of crayons!

Looking forward to a similar paddle along the shoreline soon. We acquired a new canoe and plan to enjoy the beauty of the shoreline on a quiet day.

I've witnessed some of the retired folk canoe in the area. They both paddle on the same side and go in circles for hours thinking they are seeing new scenery each time around but making the same comments each time.

Nasty Crayolas......"Red" necks...that are too "Yellow" to ID them selves while trying to make the old folks feel "Blue" ....you're just "Green" with envy because they can paddle around all week and enjoy the natural beauty....but then
Orange" you glad you have a job to go to!?!
